The donation made by Bhonacao Agroindustrial, under the direction of its General Manager, Eng. Omar Caraballo, to the Leonardo La Malanga Agricultural Development Board (JUNDALEOMA) in the Municipality of Paraíso, Barahona province, marks a milestone in the promotion of social development in the region. The presence of producers who are members of Bhonacao and beneficiaries of the project, along with Messrs. Pascual Terrero Matos, President, and Olennys González, Vice President, enhances the company’s commitment to the local community.

This initiative, which is part of Bhonacao Agroindustrial’s commitment to allocate 10% of its net income to social projects, results in the construction of two Mini Electric Power Plants in the communities of Charco Prieto, Leonardo and La Malanga. Residents of these areas expressed their gratitude and appreciation for this effort, highlighting the importance of these donations for the progress and well-being of their communities.

In addition to these works, Bhonacao Agroindustrial also made important contributions to the Church of San Rafael and La Iglesia Defensores de La Fe de Paraíso, Barahona, thus consolidating its commitment to the comprehensive development of the region.
